Report a video that uses your work

If you believe a video on PiQQs Universe uses your copyrighted work without permission, send us a notice using the form below or by email or mail to our designated copyright agent. A notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. The PiQQs Universe video you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it (its title, and the scene or time if you can).
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Counter-notices

If you uploaded a video that was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, or you have permission to use the material, you can send a counter-notice. Creators can send one from their Creators Studio; anyone can also send one to our copyright agent. A counter-notice must include your physical or electronic signature; the video that was removed; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which PiQQs Universe may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.

We forward valid counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we may restore the video 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

Each valid notice that leads to a removal counts as a strike on the uploader’s account. In appropriate circumstances, we turn off the accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe copyrights; a creator who receives three strikes may lose their account.

Our right to remove content

Independently of any notice, PiQQs Digital Entertainment LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove or disable access to any content on PiQQs Universe that it believes may infringe the rights of others or otherwise violate our Terms of Service or the Creator Agreement.

Please be accurate

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether a use of your work is infringing, for example because it may be fair use, consider getting legal advice first.
